Sandi's Remarkable Career Path

Sandi’s background is truly remarkable. She started as one of the first female executives in the men’s clothing business, co-founding the popular jeans company Bugle Boy. She then explored the licensing business, democratizing fashion by bringing high-end designers to mass-market retailers.

Sandi’s passion for personal growth led her to explore somatic psychotherapy, a mind-body approach to healing. She became so immersed in this field that she taught the techniques to other therapists around the world, including in Italy and Canada.

Now, Sandi provides brands to national television networks for live flash sales, with a focus on supporting women-owned and minority-owned businesses – a true testament to her commitment to empowering others.

Facing Devastating Adversity

Sandi’s life took a dramatic turn when she and her husband, Barnett, faced a series of devastating challenges. In 2018, they lost their home in the Woolsey Fire in Malibu, California. This traumatic event left them with only the essentials, forcing them to start over.

Just months later, Barnett suffered a life-threatening medical emergency due to a gallbladder surgery gone wrong. He spent 18 months in poor health, with Sandi by his side, caring for him and navigating the uncertainty.

Discovering Inner Strength and Spiritual Connection

Through these immense hardships, Sandi experienced a profound transformation. She initially went into shock and struggled with anxiety, but gradually, she discovered a deeper sense of spiritual connection and inner strength.

Sandi realized that her previous sense of “mojo” and confidence was rooted in a false sense of security and ego. The loss of her material possessions and the near-loss of her husband forced her to confront her own mortality and the true nature of love and connection.

Sandi’s spiritual awareness deepened, and she found solace in the support of nature and the divine. She became more compassionate, patient, and appreciative of the present moment, no longer taking her blessings for granted.

Embracing Joy and Inner Peace

Through the challenges, Sandi discovered a newfound sense of joy and inner peace. She shifted her focus from being a “doer” to being more introspective, allowing her to experience life more fully. The loss of her external identity and success led her to a deeper connection with her true self.

“Now I’m much more focused inward. And, um, that gives me much more joy. I have a inner peace which gives me joy. I’m, you know, a lot of what was motivating me fell away. So I have much more time within myself to experience life and be present.”

Sandi’s story is a testament to the transformative power of adversity. By embracing the challenges and finding the gifts within them, she has emerged with a deeper spiritual awareness, a more profound appreciation for love, and a newfound sense of joy and inner peace.
